New Community Engagement and Public Consultation Arrangements
Recently Humberside Police Authority have made changes in the way that the public of the East Riding are consulted and involved in problem solving and crime reduction in their communities.
Police and Partners Community Forums (PPCFs) will replace Police Authority Panels as the main public consultation forums dealing with crime and community safety.
There will be one PPCF for each of the following ward clusters to coincide with the Neighbourhood Action Teams:
Hessle ward
Willerby & Kirk Ella, Tranby wards
Cottingham North, Cottingham South wards
South Hunsley, Dale wards
Beverley Rural, St Mary’s, Minster & Woodmansey wards
Snaith, Airmyn, Rawcliffe & Marshland wards
Goole North, Goole South wards
Howden, Howdenshire wards
Wolds Weighton Pocklington Provincial wards
Driffield & Rural, East Wolds & Coastal wards
Bridlington North, Bridlington South, Bridlington Central and Old Town wards
North Holderness wards
Mid Holderness, South West Holderness wards
South East Holderness wards
Each of these public forums will meet and concentrate their efforts on identifying the main crime, disorder or community safety concerns in their area and, along with their local police officers will try to identify a way of solving the problems with the help and resources of partner agencies.
